Stipulation
Proposed Definition
- An artifact created by the user to the Relying Party or other Digital Entity representing the way that the user wishes User Private Information to be handled.
Notes
This is one of two types of artifact that the RP is likely to retain in their User Object that are generated by the user. The other is a Claim that may have been provided to an RP by the User Agent or by an Identifier or Attribute Provider.
Stipulations have less need to be machine readable than claims.
