- Agenda: The entire meeting focused on Glossary terms.
- The team reviewed the terms in green.
- Transparency. Term deleted. Standard dictionary term.
- Usability: Extent to which a system, product or service can be used by users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction in a specified context of use [ISO/IEC 9241-210]
- User: Is a human. Team decided to shorten the definition to: In usability statements, refers to an individual human being.
- User-centric: Keep original definition defined by UXC. Systems, design and/or program processes that put the individual human being at the center of the activity. Equivalents and related terms may include: user, user-centered, human-centered, end user, individual user, user-friendly. [IDESG IDEF] [UXC-Dict]
- User-Experience: Human user's perceptions and responses resulting from the use of a entity’s services as rendered by expected user agents.
- Third-party: Term deleted. Standard dictionary term.
- Relying-party: Actor that relies on an identity assertion or claim. [ISO/IEC 29115]
- System: Term deleted. Standard dictionary term.
- Consent: Definition to be discussed with IDEF Functional Model /Glossary WG later today. UXC prefers their definition. Implied consent: Use of a system or service without direct acknowledgement of the terms being accepted by the user. [UXC-Dict]. Express consent: A direct acknowledgement to the terms and conditions of use. [UXC-Dict]. Voluntary acceptance. FOR UXC & Privacy: Please consider using the ISO 29100 definition – it is a precise description of the nature of consent to collect/use/process personal information (rather than just use of the system).
