Meeting Notes

- All meeting notes except for May 22nd were approved.
- The May 22nd will have edits provided by Anne—specifically, she would like further clarification from IDESG leadership and the ombudsman about how minority reports will be handled. This will addressed and handled at a later date.
- Deliverables:
- Adam proposed three objectives for the committee in 2014
- Complete the Functional Model
- The group confirmed the initial concept that the functional model should be the foundation for the development of the requirements
- Adam requested comments on the existing functional model components by next Thursday
- There will be a small work group put together to develop the reference model deliverable
- Develop security requirements
- There will be a subcommittee set up to lead development of the security requirements
- A starting point could be to review existing security frameworks for applicability to the Identity Ecosystem
- Identification of security standards for IDESG adoption
- Each subcommittee will need to establish terms of references and timelines for committee review and approval
- There were no objections to focusing on these deliverables for the remainder of 2014
- Elections:
- Adam provided a high level overview of the election schedule which was passed by the Ombudsman without feedback suggesting changes.
- Notification of the elections were posted by Sal on 6 Jun 2014, meeting the 45 notice policy
- The schedule will be posted this week
- Plenary:
- Comments can be provided to Andrew, Kim, or the Secretariat
- Andrew and Kaliya will provide some feedback on the input from the value proposition exercise
- Other:
- The Standards Committee is seeking input on the Standards Adoption Policy.
