‘’’Meeting Minutes’’’
- The IDESG Board has approved Mary’s contract for her work on the Registry. One of her first tasks will be to finalize the Statement of Work so all the descriptions of work can be understood by an engineer as it goes out to bid. She is going to map the SOW to the eight areas of work she has proposed the last few months. The Board has requested that the SOW be finalized by December 15, 2017 so work can begin in January.
- Mary will work with Kay Chopard Cohen and will oversee Mary’s contract.
- The regular UX Committees on Tuesdays and the SALs Registry meetings on Fridays will be deleted and a new Registry meeting will be scheduled.
- Tom Jones reported that the updates have been completed for the UXC requirements at the last meeting.
- Science Gateway Center at University of San Diego. Bev Corwin suggested Mary might want to checkout them as a resource for the engineering work on the IDESG project. Bev indicated that they have an incubator program that could help fund the engineering work.
- The IDESG is similar to the Science Gateway. She recommends we reply to their incubator program for funding. Bev volunteered to help with introductions.
