So that we are clear in our dealing with each other - and with the outside world - IDESG is developing a catalog of key terms and concepts that it wants to use in a consistent manner across the organization.
This also applies to the words we use in defining a formal vocabulary, use cases, business, information and functional models and other related activities.

Some basic lexicography terms:
A "Concept" is some 'thing' - an object, real or imaginary, anything - that we can think or talk about
A "Term" is the language-dependent "label" that we associate with a given concept.
A "Definition" is a piece of text - as you would find typically in a standard dictionary - that sufficiently explains the concept and (ideally) distinguishes it from other terms and concepts with which it might be confused.
A "Use Case" is a ...
