A serious problem with this design pattern is that I can't, with my end user hat on, tell if this is in my best interest or not. Or if this is even a balance of stakeholders' interests. Without that I only have more questions. Given that I cannot recommend that this be a Common to the Internet Identity Ecosystem. With the changes I recommended I would be more in favor of this. Without addressing the ethical basis, having ethical metrics and human attributes and capability protection and enhancement I am not confident or persuaded. I would like to work on those issues with you if you are willing.

For the common case I am not sure how to add ethical considerations. For the specific case of the User Registration Ceremony I have added a start of a machine readable conversation, which I called a "ceremony" to address the one suggestion that I do understand.
