The User Experience Committee Work list

This list includes items we currently work on, items we are considering, items other IDESG groups have asked us to consider, and items we have cataloged but which haven't yet become a priority. Initially, we will create a list and then go through through the committee to prioritize the work and categorize it into the above sections.

Potential work for the UXC committee, based upon the 04112014 meeting and the Plenary meeting 04032014, in no particular order:
Current:

  1. Provide usability assistance with the IDESG website -- Provide a Help Section or guidelines for others in IDESG about usability and user experience - currently under review of Jim Zok doc, with Darren Kall's Q&A
  2. Provide a Help document for individuals about the NSTIC project and their own identity management AND
  3. Provide a set of guidelines to other IDESG Committees for how to evaluate their work product for good usability and user experience
  4. Help with the Functional Model - Adam
  5. Ken Klingenstein pilot review of Privacy Lens

To consider:

  1. Provide a UX evaluation document - this would require a change to our charter and it should be noted that several objected to the full creation of this as overbearing toward IDESG -- this was discussed in the 04112014 meeting
  2. What else?

Completed work:

  1. Assess the NSTIC requirements against the UXC work projects to evaluate whether we are meeting core NSTIC goals. - Done
  2. Provide Feedback document on first group of Use_Cases to UCAHG/Standards -- Describe goals for use cases, then let the Use Case Committee decide whether to follow them -- currently approved set of UXC_Use_Case_Mapping is on the linked wiki page and individual Use Cases have individual feedback posted
