  • Mary Hodder led the call. Notes taken by Linda Braun
  • Meeting was called to order at 12:05 p.m. EDT

  • Roll call.


Minutes

  • Ellen provided an update to the content for the UXC wiki overview. The team was OK with the content. Link to resource page was suggested to be added and contact for help.
  • Discussion on ISO standards for inclusion in IDESG standards. We were given the standards with watermarks included (for our committee internal/use). Not to be posted to the IDESG website. The list includes:
    • ISO 9241-210 – Ergonomics of human-system interaction
    • ISO 98-1: Uncertainty of measurement
    • ISO 29115: Information technology – Security techniques
    • ISO 9241-1: Ergonomic requirements for office work with visual display terminals
  • If people want to learn more about measurement, the team thought it would be a good idea to include under supplemental guidance.
    • Action: Mary will forward ISO 29114 to the Security Committee for their consideration.
    • Action: Mary will fill out the forms for the standards and will send around to UXC for comments before submitting.
  • Design Pattern Work – Mary previously sent email to Tom Jones about this work and suggested he might join us at the January 5 UXC meeting to help us get the documents in good shape.
    • Anti-pattern work still needs to be included.
  • Chair Meeting update – Mary brought up the question about the dictionary and cross organization. Jamie and Paul took action item to put together a plan. Mary also had a call with Jamie about UXC’s SME request and he plans to update to reflect Mary’s input.
  • Next regular meeting, January 5, 2016.
